The National Zoo & Aquarium is Australia's
only combined Zoo and Aquarium.
That's 2 attractions in one! We are situated on
around 25 acres of land just five minutes from the
centre of Canberra.
With a wide variety of both native and exotic animals,
as well as the largest inland saltwater tank in
Australia, there is something for everyone.

Zoocation Holiday Sessions
is the school holiday program that offers a fun,

The Gift Shop at The National Zoo & Aquarium
is stocked full of a great variety of souvenirs
to remind you of your visit, from pocket money toys
to quality clothing and wildlife themed Giftware.
There's a wide range of animal soft toys, jigsaws
and puzzles, jewellery, animal posters and ornaments.
We also have quality t-shirts for both children
and adults and stock a selection of books, including
Children’s books and animal reference books.

as caps, key rings,
magnets, postcards, stubby holders and more.
Purchases made in our Gift Shop contribute to our
special animal programs here at the Zoo.
The National Zoo & Aquarium is open 364 days
a year and parking is free.
